The site name, Onelargeonion.com was originally intended to be
a web site for food. When I open a recipe book and find
something I would like to make, the first ingredient is usually
one large onion. Hence the name, Onelargeonion.com. This
is a new site and still under development, so expect changes
from time to time. Seems like it's always a work in progress.
I am looking for recipes
that taste good. Your mother's or your grandmother's specialty.
If grandmom made the best gravy you ever tasted, send it
to me. It will appear here. No one bakes an apple pie better
than my mom...send it here. Uncle
Vito made Roast Pork to die for...send the recipe.
Italian, French, Chinese,
Latin and American all cuisines are welcome. Each has their
specialty. Each had a grandmom that could do it better than
anyone else. That's what we are looking for. As recipes
come in, the index on your right will grow. If there is an
underline, there is a recipe there. So lets get started.
Your name and a general location of where you're from will
appear at the end of your recipe if you wish. The Blog section
of the site can be used for discussions on food or cooking
techniques.
Share your cooking tips here. Do you have
a special way of doing something? Let the rest of us know about
it. Do you have a favorite frying pan, that just seems to work
better than the others you've tried? Let us know about it.
